Abstract

This study aims to study 1). To study factors affecting election decisions. 2). To compare election decisions classified according to personal data and 3). To present development guidelines The decision to elect the president of the Provincial Administrative Organization of the people of the municipalities in the provinces in Eastern Economic Corridor. It is quantitative research. The population used in this study is voters in Chachoengsao Province. Chonburi Province and Rayong Province of people: 90,865 people. The sample group using Taro Yamane's formula with a confidence level of 95 percent was 1,188 people. Separated into Chachoengsao Municipality, 397 people, Chonburi Municipality, 394 people, and Rayong City Municipality, 397 people The tool used was a 3-part questionnaire to analyze the data with a ready-made program by finding the number, percentage, mean and standard deviation and testing the hypothesis with values (t-test) and One-Way ANOVA. The results of the study found that


          Factors affecting the decision to elect the president of the provincial administrative organization were found to have a high level of opinion overall (  = 3.66, S.D. = 0.75). The items with the highest opinions, in order, were personal media factors that influence decision making ( = 3.89, S.D.=0.72). Factors related to political party affiliation ( = 3.66, S.D.=0.71) factors related to candidate qualifications ( = 3.60, S.D.=0.75), respectively. As for the item with the lowest level of opinion is the policy factor of the applicant ( = 3.57, S.D.=0.85) The results of the study comparing election decisions found that respondents of different genders had no significant difference in election decisions at the .05 level, except for the factor of political party affiliation. Different ages had no significant differences in voting decisions at the .05 level, except for the policy factors of the candidates. Different educational levels have no significant difference in election decisions at the .05 level, except for the factors of media and individuals that influence decision-making. As for different occupations and monthly income, there was no significant difference in voting decisions at the .05 level. Guidelines for developing election decision making were found to be based on Being a person with a good personality He is a well-educated person. Has experience in working. Participated in organizing speaking forums at various important points, choosing to have policies that were innovative and innovative. Policy aims to benefit the public at large.
