Abstract

This research aims to study the relationship between cash holding and business achievement measuring from firm growth in Thailand in order to be a data source for the investors to use financial statement to analyze business margin; therefore, it could help the investors to make righ decisions for investing in the stock market. This study employed correlation method and the samples were 358 companies that registered in the Stock Exchange of Thailand. Their financial statements were collected as data and then it was analyzed by descriptive statistics, correlation and multiple regression. The results revealed that the company’s growth on Return On Assets (ROA) and Return Of Equity (ROE) with significant statistic, had positive relationship with cash holding. However, the company’s growth in terms of assets and sales showed no relationship with cash holding.
