The research tools are important informants in the interviews: news anchors, field reporters, members of the House of Representatives, members of the Senate, the president of the Thai Press Association, former members of the House of Representatives, and former members of the Senate, totaling 17 people.

The research results found that 1. Problems in presenting online media that affect the direction of Thai politics and the role of online media in the direction of Thai politics found that online media has 2 types of presentation formats. The first type is neutral in presenting quickly and easily, with a variety of presentations, and criticizing the direction of Thai politics directly. The second type is attacking, choosing sides, distorting facts, lacking ethics, and morality, and violating personal rights. 2. The influence of online media on the direction of Thai politics found that online media is a guide and influences people to follow their ideas, whether in a constructive or unconstructive way. In terms of the impact on the direction of Thai politics, it is creating changes in the direction of Thai politics, exposing individuals, groups of people, and political parties. 3. The presentation format of online media that is neutral in Thai politics found that people can choose channels to receive information that are appropriate and effective, whether in terms of neutrality, truthfulness, creativity, morality, ethics, and correctness, which will promote knowledge of Thai politics for themselves and enhance political participation in various appropriate forms. Therefore, online media is an important variable in delivering messages to the people.
