Abstract

This research aimed to: (1) examine the current state of instructional management and organizational administrative structures; (2) assess the potential and constraints of internal resources; and (3) propose strategic guidelines for curriculum development and prioritization to enhance competitiveness in alignment with the demands of modern industries (New S-Curve). Data collection tools included policy-level expert workshops, organizational potential evaluation using an Alignment Matrix, and curriculum portfolio analysis via a two-dimensional Prioritization Matrix based on national demand and faculty readiness.

The findings revealed that the Faculty must transform its instructional framework through three core strategies: (1) Bridging the Skill Gap, by positioning Electrical Engineering as a flagship program and preparing Mechatronics Engineering to address Industry 4.0 requirements; (2) Fostering Cross-disciplinary Synergy, by shifting the paradigm of design disciplines toward the roles of "Designer for Engineers" and industrial UI/UX; and (3) Driving with Super KPIs, by establishing empirical metrics such as employment rate, percentage of new entrepreneurs, and international accreditation standards (ABET/AUN-QA). Regarding financial feasibility for the four proposed disciplines, Digital Media Design and Artificial Intelligence, along with Design Engineering and Creative Innovation, emerged as primary revenue generators ("Cash Cows"), achieving payback periods of 7.74 and 9.19 years, respectively, through a shared resource model. Conversely, Electrical Engineering exhibited a slower return on initial Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) due to a smaller intake capacity, necessitating alternative revenue generation via non-degree training programs. Lastly, Next-Generation Automotive Engineering faced high structural risks, requiring public-private partnership models to mitigate financial burdens and ensure long-term educational sustainability.
