Abstract

Six caritas are a classic approach to understand personalities of six different groups of people classified by Lord Buddha. It’s important to study and learn the meanings, types, advantages and disadvantages of each Carita. In addition, we should be able to identify which noticeable characters of people that make them belong to a certain Carita. This will allow us to collaborate well with people from each Carita resulting in proper interaction, effective work and harmonious life in the society. This study aims to show exemplified persons from each Carita who lived during the Lord Buddha’s era and the Lord Buddha’s art and science of dealing with them in the most effective way. We can learn from this study and apply the Lord Buddha’s methods to improve our ways of dealing with various kinds of people in our daily lives.
