บทคัดย่อ

บทความนี้นำเสนอแนวคิด ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) ซึ่งเป็นกรอบการดำเนินงานที่จำเป็นสำหรับธุรกิจในยุคปัจจุบัน โดยชี้ให้เห็นถึงความสำคัญของการปรับตัวจากรูปแบบธุรกิจดั้งเดิมที่มุ่งเน้นเพียงผลกำไร ไปสู่การดำเนินงานที่คำนึงถึงความยั่งยืน บทความได้อธิบายองค์ประกอบทั้งสามด้านของ ESG ได้แก่ สิ่งแวดล้อม สังคม และธรรมาภิบาล ตัวอย่างดัชนีชี้วัดและการนำ ESG ไปปฏิบัติของบริษัทชั้นนำในประเทศไทย เช่น บริษัท ปูนซิเมนต์ไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) บริษัท ปตท. จำกัด(มหาชน) และ บริษัท บางจาก คอร์ปอเรชั่น จำกัด (มหาชน) เพื่อช่วยสร้างความยั่งยืนทางธุรกิจโดยการรับมือกับความเสี่ยงในระยะยาว สร้างความเชื่อมั่นให้ผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสีย และเพิ่มโอกาสทางธุรกิจและนวัตกรรม รวมถึงข้อจำกัดและความท้าทายของธุรกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อม (SMEs) ในการนำแนวคิด ESG มาปรับใช้ โดยเฉพาะปัญหาด้านทรัพยากร การขาดความรู้ความเข้าใจ และอุปสรรคด้านกฎระเบียบ
