The French Titles of Thai Ministries

Abstract
In French translations of the names of Thai ministries, especially in journalistic writings, a certain lexical and typographical variation is noteworthy. This paper studies the titles of Thai ministries as they appear in the French language press published in Thailand. The corpus comprises names of ministries in articles written in French and published online in 2020. These press articles come from two French news websites about Thailand: gavroche-thailande.com and lepetitjournal.com. This paper will present a general description of Thai and French ministries; the approach chosen to conduct this study; and data analysis with interpretation.
