Local Community and the Participation in the Management of Natural Resources for Sustainable Use

Abstract
As the current management of natural resources are not efficient, and the Constitution affirms the rights of community to participate in conservation and the use of natural resources and environment, the local community has played an important role regarding natural resources and environmental management. The local people who live in such area with their life depending on natural resources should have the rights to participate in and engage with the State to manage and preserve natural resources in their local area in order to maintain the sustainable utilisation.
ชุมชนท้องถิ่นกับการมีส่วนร่วมจัดการทรัพยากรธรรมชาติอย่างยั่งยืน
จากการจัดการทรัพยากรธรรมชาติในปัจจุบันที่ขาดประสิทธิภาพ และรัฐธรรมนูญได้รับรองให้ชุมชนมีสิทธิในการมีส่วนร่วมอนุรักษ์และใช้ประโยชน์จากทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม ชุมชนท้องถิ่นจึงมีบทบาทที่สำคัญในการมีส่วนร่วมจัดการทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม เนื่องจากเป็นผู้ที่อยู่อาศัยและต้องพึ่งพาทรัพยากรธรรมชาติในการดำรงชีพ จึงมีความชอบธรรมที่จะมีส่วนร่วมกับรัฐในการจัดการดูแลรักษาทรัพยากรธรรมชาติในท้องถิ่นของตน เพื่อให้คงไว้สำหรับการใช้ประโยชน์ได้อย่างยั่งยืน
