The Democratization in Thai Rural Communities: the Study of Bangpakong Community Residents

This research is used a quantitative method with the aim to study the democratization and other relevant factors in order to assess the community democratic concept of Bangpakong community. The democrati-zation is applied as the main theoretical framework. The research outcome has found that the cultural democracy in political aspect, social structural management aspect and political structure aspect are overall in the medium level. Other relevant factors in relation to democratization include professional factor, revenue source, income, and the following up of political news.
