The Connection of Cooperatives Ideologies, Values, Principles and Practices, and Principles of Good Business Management

Abstract

            A cooperative is an organization in which individuals unite voluntarily to carry out  economic and social activities, for the economic and social benefit of the individuals gathered together. A cooperative is a business organization. Cooperative management to achieve its objectives as a cooperative must be based on Cooperative ideology, Cooperative values, and Cooperatives principles and practices , and must be managed according to good business management principles in order for the organization to be profitable and care about society. The profits of the cooperative will be returned to the cooperative members as cooperative owners.

            Cooperatives must have management that is connected to management based on cooperative ideology, Cooperative values, Cooperative principles and implementation of cooperative principles as a cooperative practices and business management according to good business management principles in all disciplines applied in cooperative business management to achieve the objectives of the cooperative as a business organization and as a cooperative where people work together in accordance with social expectations, namely eating well, living well, being fair and peaceful in society.
