Soft landscape management is important to landscape design as it addresses dynamic features, such as variations in the size, shape, and proportion of vegetation growth. Consequently, it immediately influences the emotions and sentiments of both the users and owners of the soft environment. It also influences sustainability by functioning as a green space that captures carbon inside the landscaped area. Consequently, efficient management is crucial. Softscape management can be categorized based on the types of plants utilized, including Perennial trees necessitating pruning, base coverage, trunk stabilization, and protection of the trunk and base. Shrubs require pruning and budding. Besides pruning, ground cover plants require regular checks for subsidence to ensure prompt restoration.
