Login or Register to make a submission.

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is formatted as a Microsoft Word document.
  • The entire text is double-spaced, including footnotes.
  • Any illustrations, figures, or tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • All other aspects of the TLS Submission Guidelines have been complied with.

Registration

  • To submit a manuscript, authors must have an account with TLS. Authors already registered with Thai Journals Online may simply add TLS to their list of journals.
  • Authors who otherwise need to register should click on the “Register” button at the bottom of the Sign-in page, which can be accessed by clicking either the "Login" or "Register" link above.
  • Once registered with TLS, authors simply Login to their account from the TLS website to interact with the editors by way of the Open Journal Systems (OJS) software management platform. All manuscripts must be submitted using this platform.
  • For more information, see Registering and Submitting an Article, as well as Responding to a Review and Copyediting and Proofreading Requests.

Format-Free Submission

  • Thai Legal Studies accepts format-free submissions. Manuscripts may be formatted in any style and references may use any scholarly convention, either in-text citations or footnotes.
  • Manuscripts must be submitted as a Microsoft Word file (.doc or .docx), preferably in Times New Roman 12 pt. All text should be double-spaced, including footnotes.
  • When submitted, manuscripts must contain no author-identifying information, but such information is to be uploaded as a separate document.
  • All manuscripts submitted to Thai Legal Studies will be screened for originality and possible plagiarism by means of Similarity Check, a service provided by Crossref that uses Turnitin’s iThenticate database.
  • Full information regarding the requirements for manuscript submission is contained in the TLS Submission Guidelines, which must be complied with.
  • If the manuscript is accepted for publication, authors are required to then substantially conform it to the TLS Formatting Guidelines.
