Motion Graphic Design for the Conservation of Endangered Animals

Abstract

This practice-led research is a motion graphic project that aimed to educate people about endangered wildlife in Thailand. The research methods started with creating graphic works by using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effect. Finally, 112 participants answered a questionnaire about the satisfaction of the use of the media. The age ranged between 18-21 years. It is found that the satisfaction rate was high. The inspiration of this project came from a new trend, which people tend to keep endangered animals as pets. However, these animals are not suitable to live in the city environment. Most of them becomes ill and die eventually. Therefore, it was the objective of this project to prevent this problem to occur by educating people not to keep endangered wildlife as pets.
