Political Utility influence on Political Decision

Abstract

Democracy is form of governance that modern world accepted, thus, the interest following is to classify factors affecting as benefits for developing democracy. This research aims; to study people’s accessibility of political utility (PU) and Political decision (PD), to analyze influence of PU affecting PD, to synthesize approach for applying PU and PD, and to establish democratic PD model. The sample was 563 people living in Central Northeast, Thailand. The instruments are questionnaire and interview. The results were found; People’s assessment on PU were ranked; deterministic, consciously ration, psychology and exchange respectively and PD were; observant, participant and partnership one as well. Influence of PU affecting PD were; political ideology, fashion stream, social grouping, policy effectiveness, self-assertion, politician ability, recognition and party policy, these could predict for 28.00%. However, factors influence political partnership were; participant, observant, deterministic, psychology and consciously ration with 74.80% prediction. Approach for promoting political partnership; to develop participation, to promote interest group, to strengthen democracy family, to develop realizing democracy and to strengthen democratic political economy.
