Assessment of performance of axial flow rice threshers for corn shelling (Thai)

Abstract

The objective of this study was to assess the performance of axial flow rice threshers for corn shelling. 17 units of rice threshers for corn shelling were randomly tested in Loei province. Results of the study indicate that the losses of shelling, separating, and cleaning had average values of 0.011, 0.111, and 0.051 % respectively. In addition, the total loss was at an average of 0.174 %. The cleaning efficiency and grain damage were at average values of 99.04 and 1.98 % respectively.
