Abstract

The objective of this research was to study local opinions held on the conduct of Sub-District Administrative Organizations in Khon Kaen Province. The study aims to identify local opinions on Sub-District Administration's roles, management practices and to identify local peoples' needs from Sub-District Administrations (SDA) in accordance with regional developmcnt. In addition, opinions were collected and divided into sex, age, educational background and size of Sub-District Administration Organization. The data were gathered from people in Khon Kaen with a total of 409 samples. The data was analyzed using program SPSS for Windows for statistics to compute frequency, percentage, average and standard deviation. Regarding SDA management and operation, generally opinions were at the medium level. The highest level average opinion was that human resources of SDA were well qualified to perform their tasks.
