นักข่าวพลเมืองกับการใช้สื่อออนไลน์ในการขับเคลื่อนด้านสิทธิมนุษยชนในสังคมไทย

Abstract

การวิจัยเรื่องนี้มุ่งศึกษากระบวนการการใช้สื่อออนไลน์ของนักข่าวพลเมืองในการรายงานข้อมูลข่าวสารและ การขับเคลื่อนด้านสิทธิมนุษยชน ตลอดจนหาแนวทางการพัฒนาบทบาทและการมีส่วนร่วมของนักข่าวพลเมืองใน การรายงานข้อมูลข่าวสารผ่านสื่อออนไลน์ เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative Research) ใช้วิธีการสัมภาษณ์ เชิงลึก (In-depth Interview) กับกลุ่มผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลัก 4 กลุ่ม คือ นักข่าวพลเมือง นักข่าวอาชีพ นักวิชาการ นิเทศศาสตร์ และบรรณาธิการเว็บไซต์ รวมจำนวน 40 คน กับการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา (Content and Textual Analysis) ข่าวออนไลน์ใน 5 เว็บไซต์ คือ www.prachatham.com, www.prachatai.com, www.oknation.net, www. citizenthaipbs.or.th และ www.tcijthai.com

ผลการศึกษาพบว่า กระบวนการรายงานข่าวของนักข่าวพลเมืองในสื่อออนไลน์ประกอบด้วยการคัดเลือก ประเด็นข่าว (News Selecting) การรวบรวมข้อมูลและผลิตเนื้อหา (News Gathering and Production) การตรวจ สอบและแก้ไข (News Checking and Editing) และการเผยแพร่รายงานข้อมูลข่าวสาร (Distributed Reporting) ซึ่งเหมือนกับกระบวนการของนักข่าวอาชีพในปัจจุบันแต่มีความเป็นอิสระมากกว่า นักข่าวพลเมืองส่วนใหญ่ขับเคลื่อน ประเด็นสิทธิมนุษยชนโดยใช้เว็บไซต์องค์กรสื่อที่เปิดพื้นที่ให้ บล็อกส่วนบุคคล และสื่อสังคมออนไลน์ เช่น เฟซบุ๊ก ทวิตเตอร์ เป็นพื้นที่ในการรายงานข่าวและแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็น โดยเนื้อหาส่วนใหญ่เป็นประเด็นสิทธิชุมชนและ วัฒนธรรม สิทธิพลเมือง และสิทธิทางการเมือง ส่วนแนวทางการพัฒนาบทบาทและการมีส่วนร่วมของนักข่าวพลเมือง ในการรายงานข้อมูลข่าวสารสำหรับสังคมไทยนั้น พบว่า ควรเป็นผู้เฝ้าประตูข่าวสารในบริบทสื่อใหม่(Gatewatcher) เป็นพลเมือง ผู้เล่าเรื่องราว (Citizen Stories) สามารถทำงานร่วมกับสื่อกระแสหลัก (Co-Operation) ทำให้การรายงานข้อมูลข่าวสารมีความสมบูรณ์มากขึ้น

This research were to study citizen reporter’s news reporting process, citizen reporter’s online media platform usage in human rights mobilization and to explore ways to improve citizen journalist’s role and participation in Thai society. The qualitative research methods were key informants in-depth interviews 4 group is citizen reporters, journalists, academic, and website editor included 40 and online news content analysis for 5 websites are www.prachatham.com, www.prachatai.com, www.oknation.net, www.citizenthaipbs.or.th, and www.tcijthai.com.

The results revealed that citizen reporter’s news reporting process via online media similar journalist’s news reporting process consisted of news selecting, news gathering and production, news checking and editing and distributed reporting. But citizen reporter more freedom than journalist.Citizen reported news and their opinions related to human rights mobilization via allowed websites, blog and social network. The human right aspects mostly found was community and cultural rights, civil rights and political rights. Citizen reporter’s role in Thai society should serve as Gatewatcher, citizen stories that support and co-operation with mainstream media. To help news reporting more complete.
