การพัฒนาแบบฝึกเสริมทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้กิจกรรม KWL-Plus สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 โรงเรียนสุราษฎร์พิทยา ๒

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาการพัฒนาแบบฝึกเสริมทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้กิจกรรม KWL-Plus เรื่อง “Around Your Life” สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 โรงเรียนสุราษฎร์พิทยา ๒ จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี โดยการหาประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์กำหนดและการเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนก่อนและหลังเรียน กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 โรงเรียนสุราษฎร์พิทยา ๒  จังหวัด สุราษฎร์ธานี  ในภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2554 จำนวน 30 คน ซึ่งได้มาจากการสุ่มแบบ Cluster random sampling จากทั้งหมด 5 ห้องเรียน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ได้แก่ แบบฝึกเสริมทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้กิจกรรม KWL-Plus เรื่อง “Around Your Life”   แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ และแบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน  ผลการวิจัยพบว่า แบบฝึกเสริมทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้กิจกรรม KWL-Plus เรื่อง “Around Your Life” มีประสิทธิภาพ 83.94/84.08 สูงกว่าเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดคือ 80/80 ทำให้ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 โดยที่ผู้เรียนมีความพึงพอใจต่อแบบฝึกเสริมทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้กิจกรรม KWL-Plus เรื่อง “Around Your Life” อยู่ในระดับมาก

This research aims to develop supplementary English reading exercises using KWL-Plus activity entitled “Around Your Life” for Matthayomsuksa four students in Suratpittaya II School in Suratthani province aiming to examine the efficiency level criteria of the supplementary English reading exercise according to the standard criteria 80/80, the students learning achievement, and students satisfaction toward the supplementary exercise. The sample group was conducted under cluster random sampling and consisted of thirty students from Matthayomsuksa four who were studying in semester one of the academic year 2011. The tools used in this study were the supplementary English reading exercises entitled “Around Your Life”, the academic achievement test and the manual of the supplementary English reading exercises entitled “Around Your Life” and the learning achievement test. Statistics including percentage, average value and t-test dependent were used to analysis process. The results showed that quality of the supplementary English reading exercises entitled “Around Your Life” was at a very good level with higher efficiency than the set  criteria at 83.94/84.08. The students who took the supplementary English reading exercises entitled “Around Your Life” have archived their learning at a statistical significant level 0.1. and the satisfaction of sample groups also showed at  a good level.
