Factors Affecting Investment Decisions in Digital Assets of People Close to Retirement Age from Institutions or Agencies Under the Church of Christ in Chiang Mai

Abstract
This research aims to study the impact of investment knowledge, digital asset knowledge, and knowledge of investing in digital assets, as well as attitudes towards investment and digital assets, and acceptable risk levels on the decision to invest in digital assets. The study employs a quantitative research method, collecting data from 209 individuals closing to retirement age, aged 55–59, from institutions or agencies under the Church of Christ in Thailand located in Chiang Mai province. The data collection was conducted through direct questionnaires and online surveys. The data were analyzed using percentages, means, and standard deviations. The research findings revealed that the majority of respondents had moderate investment knowledge (66.03), limited knowledge of digital assets (55.50), and limited knowledge of digital asset investment (48.89). The results also show that respondents agreed that investors should have good knowledge about investing in stocks, securities, funds, and digital assets, with an average score of 4.00. They exhibited a moderate level of risk tolerance (57.89). A positive correlation was observed between attitudes toward digital assets and investment decisions in digital assets at the 0.05 confidence level. Additionally, acceptable risk levels in investment significantly influenced digital asset investment decisions at the 0.01 statistical significance level.
