Study of construction management problems that cause work delays A case study of the Chiang Mai Vocational College Library Building Chiang Mai Provincial Vocational Education Office

Abstract
The objectives of this study were 1) to study the level of problems in construction management that affect the delay of government and private sector operators, and 2) to compare the level of problems in construction management that affect the delay according to the opinions of workers of government agencies and workers of private sector agencies. This research is a population survey, and the group sampling research consisted of workers of government agencies and workers of private sector agencies total of 30 people. The sample was obtained from a random sampling of 28 people by using a ready-made table of Cracy and Morgan, which is the instrument used for data collection, consisting of questionnaires and statistics used for data analysis, namely, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and test statistics. The results showed that: 1) The level of problems in construction management that affected the delay was based on the opinions of workers of government agencies and workers of private sector agencies was very high, and 2) the comparison of the difference in the level of problems in construction management that affected the delay according to the opinions of workers of government agencies and workers of private sector agencies was no statistically significant difference at the level of 0.05.
