Causal Factors of Knowledge Sharing Behavior Affecting The Safety Attitude Building for The Freight Forwarding Sector

The objectives of this article were: 1) to study the causal factors affecting knowledge sharing behavior and safety attitude building for the freight forwarding sector, 2) to study the causal factors of knowledge sharing behavior and safety affecting building for the freight forwarding sector, and 3) to construct a model of the causal factors of knowledge sharing behavior and safety affecting building for the freight forwarding sector. This research was a qualitative and quantitative research. Data were collected from 5 participants who working in the freight sector and collecting data from 520 sample of transport business operators. The tools used for data collection were interview forms and online questionnaires. The statistics used in the data analysis were descriptive statistics and inferential statistics.
The results showed that organizational intention affects knowledge sharing behavior, organizational intention affects safety attitude building through knowledge sharing behavior, organizational safety culture affects knowledge sharing behavior, organizational safety culture affects safety attitude building through knowledge sharing behavior, norm of reciprocity affects knowledge sharing behavior, norm of reciprocity affects safety attitude building through knowledge sharing behavior, knowledge sharing behavior affects safety attitude building. Therefore, freight forwarding business operators are able to apply the results obtained from the research study to develop research and develop the transportation management system to advance resulting in managing knowledge sharing behavior and creating a safety attitude with other modes of transport.
