Abstract

This Article aimed to study (1) study the influence of football fan loyalty on football fan citizenship behavior and (2) the influence of gender factors on football fan citizenship behavior.  This study was quantitative research. The sample group was 400 Thai League football fans who attended Thai League football matches in 2021. They was selected by multi-stage random sampling. the instrument for collecting data was a questionnaire. Analysis data by descriptive statistics, structural models of causal relationships, and independent samples t-tests.

The results of the research found that 1) football fan loyalty has a positive influence on football fan citizenship behavior. The variable of football fan loyalty has a direct influence on the variable of football fan citizenship behavior. In conclusion, football fan citizenship behavior can be explained by the football fan community, fan engagement, and football fan loyalty. 2) Males and females have good football fan behavior, not significantly different at the 0.05 level. It can be explained that males and females have equal football fan citizenship behavior, so there are no differences. When considering the gender factor in football fan citizenship behavior. The research findings show that building a strong fan community requires several factors, including building fan engagement through events and social media, fostering fan loyalty, and promoting gender equality in football. These factors help to foster support and positive connections within the football fan community.
