Guidelines for Developing Municipal Waste Maste Management Efficiency by Outsourcing Successful Private Companies in the Central Region

Abstract

T This research aimed to 1) study the level of success of hotel operators in the Western region, consumer behavior, organizational management, and innovation;          2) study consumer behavior, organizational management, and innovation that causally influence the success of hotel operators in the Western region; and 3) study the guidelines for enhancing the success of hotel operators in the western region. This research was mixed-method research between quantitative and qualitative methods. The quantitative research sampled 320 legally registered hotel operators in the Western region. The sample size was set at 20 times the observed variable. The stratified random sampling was used to collect data. The data was analyzed using a structural equation model. For the qualitative research, data was collected through in-depth interviews with officials from the provincial tourism office in the Western region, officials from the provincial accommodation business association in the Western region, officials from the provincial chamber of commerce, and representatives of hotel operators, totaling 11 people. Data were analyzed using content analysis and triangulation. The research results found that 1) innovation, hotel operator success, consumer behavior, and management were at a high level, respectively; 2) consumer behavior had a total influence on the success of hotel operators in the Western region. The next most important are management and innovation, respectively. 3) Guidelines for enhancing the success of hotel operators in the Western region are a newly developed model called the "COIS Model." This model is a guideline for operators to use in enhancing the success of hotel operators in the Western region, focusing on finance, customers, internal management processes, and learning and development.
