Abstract

This article aims to study the composition of  the Kitab Aqidah al-Najin fi Ilm Usul al-Din by Sheikh Tuan Minal. The study collected data by records and interviews; analyses by using historical approach, Ulumul Hadith and Tarjeah principle. The study found that the Kitab Aqidah  al-Najin fi Ilm Usul al-Din by Sheikh Tuan Minal was a translated book and explain in descriptive form Matan Ummul Barahin book. The key compositions of this book were prologue, content and epilogue. The main contents of this book was about Aqidah and the principle of faith, it could be divided into 4 parts: introduction of Usuluddin, introduction of knowledge relate to Aqidah, explanation Aqidah, and the result indicator of those who hold and follow Aqidah of the successor. The book was convincing reference from al-Qur’an, al-Hadith, al-Ijma‘ and Principle of giving weight to evidences
