Abstract

The developing on writing and storytelling skill of Prathomsuksa 6 students by using the 5W1H technique and the skill exercises, the purpose were: 1) to develop a writing and storytelling skill exercises for Prathomsuksa 6 students to be effective according to 80/80 the standard of criteria, 2) to develop the writing and storytelling skill of Prathomsuksa 6 students by using the 5W1H technique and the skill exercises. Using the purposive sampling method, the researcher selected a sample population consisting of 6 students of Prathomsuksa 6 at Buparam School, Kaset Somboon District, Chaiyaphum Province of academic year 2021. The instruments of research consisted of learning activity plan, writing and storytelling skill exercises, reading and writing and storytelling achievement test. Initially, the data collected were analyzed by application of descriptive statistics techniques; mean (mean ( ), standard deviation (SD.). In comparing levels of achievement test used Wilcoxon signed rank test to compared both prior to and after study groups.

               The results showed that:

               1) The performance of writing and storytelling skill exercises by using the 5W1H technique and the skill exercises for Prathomsuksa 6 effective E1/E2 = 85.20/91.32 which was higher than the set 80/80 the standard of criteria.

               2) to develop the writing and storytelling skill of Prathomsuksa 6 students by using the 5W1H technique and the skill exercises after using was higher than the pre-test scores at the .05 statistical significant level.
