Abstract
The objectives of this study are: 1. To study the condition and problems of packaging; 2. To determine the key components, to prepare and evaluate the packaging for communication and marketing promotion for tourism by the Bang Mae Mai community. This research is a mixed research. collect data with surveys participant observation and brainstorming sessions Use questionnaires and Guideline questionnaires as tools to gather information. Quantitatively, 50 respondents were tourists. Data were analyzed by statistics. percentage and mean. Qualitatively, key informants consisted of The leader of Bang Mae Mai Community Development Group and 22 members categorized the data. and translate the data into concepts to compile according to the principles of content analysis
The results showed that the condition and problems of the packaging used are out of date. Made of low quality plastic which has a cheap cost , lack of logo and brand name preparation and community identity.In design and prototyping of vermicelli packaging, the structure is plastic, round shape, modern, simple, using high-grade plastic. Using the brand name "Sanae Nang", orange-red tones, with a charming woman's image as a logo, packaged in Moon cake It has a plastic structure. Square shape, dark brown, the lid is clear plastic. Put 4 Moon cake using the brand name "Wan Kham Mae" using green-brown tones. and use the logo as a cartoon kid holding a tray of candy. Herbal juice packaging,the structure is a plastic bottle, size 160 cc., using the brand name "Hai Khun Suk", using a Herom in a blue circle as a logo. Colorful, choose fresh colors according to the type of herbs. Tourists strongly agree with the new packaging design. And every package increases sales more than 10 percent.
