Management of trade along the pak khlong talat in accordance with Bangkok policy

Abstract

        This research article has the objectives of 1) to study current problems in trade management of the Pak Khlong Talat , Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok. 2) Study the management policy of street trade at the  Pak Khlong Talat , Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok. 3) To suggest problems, obstacles, and solve the occupational situations of street vendors at the Pak Khlong Talat , Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok. , together with policies or measures for managing the trading at the Pak Khlong Talat , Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok. together with policies or measures for managing street trade at the Pak Khlong Talat , Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok. A qualitative research method was used by in-depth interviews from a group of 26 key informants. Interviews and analysis, reading results, interpreting and drawing conclusions. The results of the research revealed that 1) The social and economic problems reflect the life of street trading in the traditional form of products that are cultural expressions. and the way of urban society of the informal economy as a driver for distribution in the community to the current roadside trade. 2) Management of street trade in Bangkok which has a policy, action plan, the Cleanliness and Orderliness Act of 1992 that is clear and covers the implementation of the policy and suitable for the area But there is a limitation on the number of operational staff and the budget received is insufficient. which has not achieved the goals set by many factors.
