The Decision Making Process in the Election of the Governor of Bangkok in 2022, Bang Phlat Sub-district, Bang Phlat District, Bangkok

This research aims to: (1) study the level of the decision making process in the election of Bangkok Governor in 2022, Bang Phlat Sub-district, Bang Phlat District, Bangkok, and (2) compare the decision making process in the election of Bangkok Governor in 2022, Bang Phlat Sub-district, Bang Phlat District, Bangkok classified by personal factors. The sample group used in the research is people in the area of Bang Phlat Sub-district, Bang Phlat District, Bangkok, totaling of 393 people. The tool used to collect data is questionnaires. The basic statistics used in the research were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The statistics used to test the hypothesis were t-test, F-test, and one-way ANOVA. The results showed that: 1. people in Bang Phlat Sub-district, Bang Phlat District, Bangkok have a high level of decision-making process regarding the election of Bangkok Governor of Bangkok in two aspects, say, campaigning and political party while the applicant’s policy is found at the moderate level, and 2. people in Bang Phlat Sub-District, Bang Phlat District, Bangkok, with different gender, age, education, and length of stay in the area have a difference in the decision making process in the election of Bangkok Governor at the statistical significant value of 0.05. However, the difference in occupation did not show any difference in the decision making process in the election of Bangkok Governor.
