อิทธิพลของเจตคติและการอยู่ร่วมกับผู้สูงอายุ ที่มีต่อการปฏิบัติตนต่อผู้สูงอายุของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี

Abstract

การวิจัยนี้ศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างเจตคติต่อผู้สูงอายุ การอยู่ร่วมกับผู้สูงอายุ และการปฏิบัติตนต่อผู้สูงอายุ พร้อมกับวิเคราะห์อิทธิพลของเจตคติ และการปฏิบัติตนต่อผู้สูงอายุของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีตัวอย่างคือนักศึกษาจำนวน 1,184 คน สุ่มเลือกจากการเลือกแบบหลายขั้นตอน เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถามประเภทให้เลือกตอบและมาตรประเมินค่า ผลการวิจัยพบว่า เจตคติต่อผู้สูงอายุมีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกกับการอยู่ร่วมกับผู้สูงอายุ และการปฏิบัติตนต่อผู้สูงอายุอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ขณะที่การอยู่ร่วมกับผู้สูงอายุมีความสัมพันธ์กับการปฏิบัติตนต่อผู้สูงอายุอย่างมีนัยสำคัญเช่นเดียวกัน นอกจากนี้ เจตคติมีอิทธิพลทางตรงต่อการปฏิบัติตนต่อผู้สูงอายุอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ แต่ไม่มีอิทธิพลทางอ้อมต่อการปฏิบัติตนต่อผู้สูงอายุผ่านการอยู่ร่วมกับผู้สูงอายุ

This research was to investigate the correlation among attitudes toward the elderly, living with the elderly, and care giving toward the elderly; and to examine the effects of attitudes on undergraduate students’ care giving toward the elderly. The sample was 1,181 students selected by using the multi-stage sampling. Multiple-choice and rating scale questionnaires were used to collect data. The research findings revealed that attitudes had a significant positive correlation with living with the elderly and care giving toward the elderly, while living with the elderly also had a significant and positive correlation with care giving toward the elderly. Furthermore, attitudes had a significant direct effect on care giving toward the elderly, but had no indirect effect on care giving toward the elderly when living with the elderly acting as a mediating variable.
