Effective SEO Content Strategy: A Case Study of Coffee Product Website Titled “Baristabuddy.co.th” under Barista Buddy Co., Ltd.

Abstract

This study focused on the effectiveness of SEO content strategy. Website analytical tools, including Google Analytics and Search Console were used for analysing the old, traditional articles and the new, developed one for this experimental-based research. In conclusion, the most effective way to uplift CTR was to optimize articles from informational form into a listicle one, as well as adding numbers to the meta title. Additionally, the listicle articles had better CTR than the long-form content articles. Nevertheless, the long-form content articles had a better chance of ranking for broader keywords with more search volume, therefore, higher clicks and impressions. Moreover, the time used for a new article on Baristabuddy.co.th that was optimized according to SEO guidelines to rank on the first and second pages of SERPs for the keywords with 100 – 1,000 times search volume per month, and SEO difficulty level between easy to medium, was between 1 – 2 months. Lastly, there was no significant improvement of optimizing product pages, but adding longer content on the product pages could make the readers stay active a little longer
