Abstract

This research aims to 1) explore the communication for developing community-based agro tourism of Ban Don Sak, Huai Ngu Subdistrict, Hunkha District, Chai Nat Province, and 2) study public relations media for community-based agro tourism model of Ban Don Sak, Huai Ngu Subdistrict, Hunkha District, Chai Nat Province. This research is community based research (CBR) which focuses on area-based approach by developing a research problem, finding potential and community problems, research practice planning, conducting research until the conclusion and removal of lessons learned from the research. This study is a collaborative work between researchers and villagers in the area. The results revealed that 1) the communication for developing community-based agro tourism of Ban Don Sak, Huai Ngu Subdistrict, Hankha District, Chainat Province consists of (1) public communication in community (2) communication for networking (3) communication in developing community-based agro-tourism management model, and (4) communication with experimental tourism management activities, these four communication activities focusing on two-way communication for fostering interaction and participation; 2) using various media in public relations for community-based agro tourism of Ban Don Sak, Huai Ngu Subdistrict, Hunkha District, Chai Nat : social media, print media and personal media.
