Evaluation of Royal Thai Police Cadet Curriculum B.E. 2549 (Revised B.E. 2551), The Royal Police Cadet Academy

Abstract

The objective of this research is to evaluate Royal Thai Police Cadet Curriculum B.E. 2549 (2551), The Royal Police Cadet Academy. The CIPP Model which included context, input, process and product, was used to evaluate the said curriculum. The samples of this study were 400 people. They were 76 instructors and administrators of the Academy, 108 police cadets, 108 alumni, and 108 alumni supervisors. The instrument of this research was a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, content analysis and hypothesis testing by using t-test. The results were as follows: 1) Context: most instructors and administrators, police cadets, and alumni thought that the curriculum is appropriate ata good level. 2) Input: most instructors and administrators, police cadets, and alumni thought that the curriculum is appropriate at a good level. 3) Process: most instructors and administrators, police cadets, and alumni thought that the curriculum is appropriate at a good level. 4) Product: most alumni supervisors and alumni thought that the curriculum is appropriate at a good level. In conclusion, this research found out that instructors and administrators, police cadets, alumni and alumni supervisors had an agreement that the Royal Thai Police Cadet Curriculum B.E. 2549 (Revised B.E. 2551) of, The Royal Police Cadet Academy, is appropriate at a good level.
