Factors Affecting the Feeling of Role Conflict of Thai Adolescents

Abstract

This research aims to explain factors affecting the feeling of role conflict of Thai adolescents. The affecting factors include sex, parents' education, parental income, number of family members, parenting style and family activities. Using a survey research method, the researcher collected data by means of a questionnaire distributed to 964 Matthayom Suksa 3 students in Bangkok metropolis. The result indicates that Thai adolescents exhibit moderate role conflict. Multiple Regression Analysis indicates that males show stronger feeling of role conflict than female; adolescents with higher paternal income have more role conflict; the opportunity to participate in family activities decrease the felling of role conflict. However, parents' education, parenting style, and number of family members do not contribute to the feeling of role conflict.ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อความรู้สึกขัดแย้งทางบทบาทของวัยรุ่นไทย

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อความรู้สึกขัดแย้งทางบทบาทของวัยรุ่นไทย โดยปัจจัย ที่นำมาพิจารณา ได้แก่เพศ ระดับการศึกษาของบิดามารดา จำนวนสมาชิกในครอบครัว การอบรมเลี้ยงดูของ บิดามารดา และการทำกิจกรรมร่วมกันในครอบครัว โดยวิธีการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ ผู้วิจัยใช้แบบสอบถามเก็บ รวบรวมข้อมูลจากนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่3 ในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร จำนวน 964 คน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า วัยรุ่นไทยมีความรู้สึกขัดแย้งทางบทบาทอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง และจากการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยวิธีวิเคราะห์ ถดถอยพหุพบว่า วัยรุ่นชายมีความรู้สึกขัดแย้งทางบทบาทมากกว่าวัยรุ่นหญิง วัยรุ่นในครอบครัวที่บิดามี รายได้สูงจะมีความรู้สึกขัดแย้งทางบทบาทมาก และการมีโอกาสทำกิจกรรมร่วมกันในครอบครัวช่วยลด ความรู้สึกขัดแย้งทางบทบาทของวัยรุ่น ในขณะที่ระดับการศึกษาของบิดามารดา จำนวนสมาชิกใน ครอบครัว และการอบรมเลี้ยงดูของบิดามารดาไม่มีผลต่อความรู้สึกขัดแย้งทางบทบาท
