Chinese Language Skills Development using the CIPPA Model for Seventh Grade Students at Mengrai Maharaj Witthayakom School, Mueang District, Chiang Rai Province

Abstract

            The objectives of this research were: 1) to create learning management plans using the CIPPA Model and finding its efficiency for seventh grade students’ learning at Mengrai Maharaj Witthayakom School, Mueang district, Chiang Rai province according to the specific criterion of 80/80; and 2) to compare Chinese language skills before and after using the CIPPA Model learning management method. The simple random sampling 32 seventh grade students. The research instruments were learning management plans using the CIPPA Model and a pre- and post-learning achievement test. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics such as percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results showed that: The efficiency value (E₁ / E₂) of the of the learning management plans using the CIPPA Model was at 87.30/92.20, which was higher than the specific criteria of 80/80. Comparative results of students' Chinese language skills before and after organizing learning using the CIPPA Model, it was found that the scores after learning were higher than before learning. Statistically significant at the .05 level.
