Stakeholder Engagement: The Key Success Factor for Corporate Social Responsibility

Abstract
Stakeholder engagement is the process of creating engagement for good relationship with stakeholders, consisting of three main stages; 1) analysis and identification stage, 2) execution stage, and 3) evaluation stage. If organizations follow the process of stakeholder engagement, they will be successful in CSR operation, because organizations can be accountable for the needs and expectations of each group of stakeholders. In addition, good relationship between organizations and stakeholders also help organizations to be successful in every corporate operation, as well as CSR operation. This article aims to provide an overview of the influence of stakeholder engagement on CSR for academic purposes, which can be applied further for corporate management.
