การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนกับการพัฒนาแหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงประวัติศาสตร์ และเสนอแนะแนวทางพัฒนาแหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงประวัติศาสตร์ อำเภอสรรคบุรี จังหวัดชัยนาท งานวิจัยนี้เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษา คือ ประชาชนในชุมชน จำนวน 350 คน โดยใช้การสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบบังเอิญ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการวิจัยพบว่ากลุ่มตัวอย่างในพื้นที่แหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงประวัติศาสตร์ อำเภอสรรคบุรี จังหวัดชัยนาท ส่วนใหญ่มีอายุ 20-30 ปี เป็นเพศชาย การศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี มีอาชีพ ค้าขาย/ธุรกิจส่วนตัว และมีรายได้ต่อเดือน ต่ำกว่า 5,000 บาท

ผลการศึกษาระดับการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนที่มีผลต่อการพัฒนาแหล่งท่องเที่ยว พบว่า ระดับการมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชนในการพัฒนาแหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงประวัติศาสตร์ ค่าเฉลี่ยรวมของการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนทั้ง 4 ด้าน มี 3 ด้าน คือ (1) ด้านการติดตาม และประเมินผล (2) ด้านการเสนอความคิด (3) ด้านการร่วมปฏิบัติ มีระดับการมีส่วนร่วมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด และอีกหนึ่งด้าน คือ (4) ด้านการร่วมตัดสินใจ มีระดับการมีส่วนร่วมอยู่ในระดับมาก เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้านย่อยพบว่า (1) ด้านการติดตาม และประเมินผล ในเรื่องของการได้เข้าไปมีส่วนร่วมในการดูแลค่าใช้จ่ายในกิจกรรม/โครงการสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวของชุมชน มีระดับการมีส่วนร่วมมากที่สุด ด้านรองลงมา คือ (2) ด้านการเสนอความคิด ในเรื่องของการมีโอกาสได้ร่วมประชุมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการจัดการแหล่งท่องเที่ยว มีระดับการมีส่วนร่วมมากที่สุด ลำดับถัดมา คือ (3) ด้านการร่วมปฏิบัติ ในเรื่องการมีส่วนร่วมในการบริจาคเงิน หรือสิ่งของเพื่อสมทบทุนในการดำเนินกิจกรรม มีระดับการมีส่วนร่วมมากที่สุด ลำดับสุดท้าย คือ (4) ด้านการร่วมตัดสินใจ ในเรื่องมีโอกาสได้ตัดสินใจในเรื่องที่เกี่ยวข้องกับแหล่งท่องเที่ยว มีระดับการมีส่วนร่วมมากที่สุด

          ข้อเสนอเพื่อพัฒนาแหล่งท่องเที่ยว ภาครัฐควรเปิดโอกาสให้ประชาชนท้องถิ่นเข้าไปมีส่วนร่วมในการจัดการท่องเที่ยว ทั้งการวางแผนและการติดตามและประเมินผล การดำเนินกิจกรรมหรือโครงการการท่องเที่ยวของชุมชน ควรมีการจัดเวทีชาวบ้าน การประชุมและประชาพิจารณ์ เพื่อให้ประชาชนได้มีการแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นและร่วมกันแก้ไขปัญหา

 ABSTRACT

        The purpose of this research was to study the community participation and the development of historical tourist attractions and suggesting the development of historical tourist attractions Sankaburi District Chainat Province. This research is survey research. The sample group used in the study was 350 people in the community using accidental sampling. The instrument used in the research was a questionnaire. The statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean and standard deviation.

          The study of the level of community participation affecting the development of tourist attractions found that the level of participation of the people in the development of historical tourist attractions The total average of the participation of the community in 4 areas are 3 areas which are (1) monitoring and evaluation (2) suggesting ideas (3) participation had the highest participation level and another side is (4) the decision making aspect, there is a high level of participation. When considered in each sub-section, it was found that (1) in monitoring and evaluation of participation in the oversight of activities/community tourist projects The highest level of participation was followed by (2) the proposal. In matters of having the opportunity to participate in meetings related to tourist attraction management had the highest level of engagement. Next is (3) in collaboration regarding participation in donations or things to help fund the activities the highest level of participation was the last one (4) in making decision making. In the matter of having the opportunity to decide on matters relating to tourist attractions had the highest level of engagement.

Suggestions for tourist attraction development, the government sector should provide opportunities for local people to participate in tourism management. Both planning and monitoring and evaluation Implementation of activities or community tourism projects should have a forum for villagers meetings and public hearings in order for the people to exchange opinions and jointly solve problems.
