The Promotion of Role Political Women: Comparative with a foreign country

Abstract

This article aims to study and analyzing the role on political women, factors related to the role on political women, and analyze the promotion of the role on Thai political women by comparative with the role on foreign political women. Including, the suggestions on promoting the role of Thai women in politics to be appropriate. The results showed that the role on political women, there are restrictions on political culture with the belief that there is no gender equality, and legal restrictions, Political party laws do not have provisions to support the political role of women. Including, characteristics of women's roles in politics have problems of leadership and lack of inspiration. When compared to foreign countries, the issues should promote the role of women in Thai politics, such as, there are acceptance of changes in political culture, especially gender equality and it has a democratic political culture. And it should promoting of the gender quotas law and there are provisions concerning the role of women in political party law. Including, the leadership roles should be promoting and it should inspire by goals, the leader women as model, and motivations. For, Thai women will be accepted by society, it has a democratic political culture and women have a role in more political leadership to be equal to foreign countries.
