Development of Homestay Village based on the Concept of Civil State to Promote Sustainable Community-based Tourism: Chee Thuan Community, Khuang Nai District,Ubon Ratchathani Province. Chee Thuan Community, Khuang Nai District,Ubon Ratchathani Province.

Abstract

 The research was a qualitative work. The objectives were 1) to study the participation of the parties concerned with a development of the home-stay village according to the concept of the civil state to promote the sustainable communal tourism, 2) to evaluate the guidelines to develop the village in the research and 3) to recommend the guidelines to develop the home-stay village to promote the sustainable community tourism. The samples used in the research were 120 individuals involved in the development of the home-stay village. The research instrument was a semi-structured interview. The research found that the relevant individuals and parties had made contributions by providing information concerning tourist sites.  They also provide suggestions as to how to make the community be  the home-stay village.  The concepts for the development of the home-stay village were as follows: development of the leadership, process of participation, development of knowledge,  development of marketing, and follow-up and evaluation
