A Survey of Chinese Studies Published in Journal of Humanities and Social Science Announced by Thai-Journal Citation Index (TCI) Centre during the Past Decade (2009 - 2018 A.D.)

Abstract
The objective of this research was to categorize and comprehensively analyze the body of knowledge from research papers and academic articles on Chinese studies published in humanities and social sciences journals indexed by Thai Journal Citation Index (TCI) throughout a decade of 2009-2018 (B.E. 2552 – 2561).
The results revealed that 329 research papers and academic articles on Chinese studies published in humanities and social sciences journals indexed by Thai Journal Citation Index (TCI) throughout a decade of 2009-2018 could be divided into 6 categories: (1) Chinese linguistics and applied linguistics (2) Chinese teaching (3) Chinese literature/ art and culture (4) Chinese society (5) Chinese politics and (6) Chinese economy, trading, and investment. The body of knowledge which were synthesized and comprehensively analyzed could reflect the core of various academic contents based on the 6 categories on Chinese studies as follows. (1) The knowledge on Chinese linguistics and applied linguistics was mainly involved in the comparative studies on linguistics and applied linguistics with an average of 41.26% of this category. (2) The knowledge on Chinese teaching was mainly related to the research on development of instructional management, with an average of 36% of this category. (3) The knowledge on Chinese literature/ art and culture was mainly concerned with the research on Chinese literature with an average of 37.7% of this category. (4) The knowledge on Chinese society was mainly involved in the research on politics and economy with an average of 36% of this category. (5) The knowledge on Chinese politics was mainly concerned with the research on the international relations and conflicts with an average of 52.38% of this category. (6) The knowledge on Chinese economy, trading, and investment was mainly involved in the research on the development of Chinese economy affecting other countries with an average of 81% of this category.
