The Development of Educational Quality Assurance System of Faculty of Education Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University.

Abstract

The purposes of the research on the development of educational quality assurance
systems and mechanisms of Faculty of Education, Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University
were to study the procedures of educational quality assurance systems and mechanisms of
all programs provided in the Faculty of Education, develop systematic and mechanical
educational quality assurance for Faculty of Education, and evaluate the quality according
to the developed system of the educational quality assurance system of the Faculty of
Education. Three phases of research procedures implemented included 1) studying the
process of system and mechanic, 2) developing the process of system and mechanic to
implement, and 3) assessing the system and mechanic implemented.
Results of the research were as follows:
1) Faculty of Education, Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University proceeded the
educational quality assurance in the curriculum level for 6 components, 14 indicators. The
guidelines in proceeding the educational quality assurance of Faculty of Education were
managed in 2 aspects, including 1.1) Indicators inspection and 1.2) Written report on the
educational quality assurance results of each curriculum level.
2) Results of the evaluation of the educational quality assurance of Faculty of
Education indicated as following:
2.1) The chair of bachelor program committees commented expressed after
the implementation of the system on the appropriateness of the manual used at the highest
level of all 9 aspects with the average of 4.73.
2.2) Results on the possibility of the system implementation found at the
highest level of all 6 sub-aspects with the average of 4.78. 2.3) Results on the cost-effectiveness and usefulness of the quality
assurance system implementation found at high level with the average of 4.42. One of the
highest level aspects was to increase the understanding of the educational quality assurance
system.
3) The overall results on the educational quality assurance system of Faculty of
Education, Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University the evaluation between 2016-2017 was
improved at good level with the average of 3.58 and one of eight programs was at very good
level with the average of 4.06
