Strategic Plans and Budgets for Elderly Operations of Agencies in Ubon Ratchathani Province

Abstract

This research aims to firstly analyze provincial strategic plan and budget for the operation of the elderly of the agencies in Ubon Ratchathani Province. and study the guidelines for the development of strategic plans and budgets for the elderly of the agencies in Ubon Ratchathani Province By using qualitative research to analyze the strategic plans and budgets of 6 agencies in Ubon Ratchathani Province.

The results of the research found that the Provincial Social Development and Human Security Office Provincial Public Health Office and local government organizations has prepared a strategic plan of the agency and local development plans by defining projects and allocating budgets to operations on the elderly But the project and the budget allocated There is a very small number and proportion. It averages between 0.17-6.54 percent of the operating budget each year. Guidelines for developing strategic plans and budgets Local governments should play a greater role in caring. Providing services and protection for the elderly by setting up projects and allocating more budgets for the elderly especially the preparation of the population for quality seniors In addition to the elderly pension scheme that has the largest proportion of the budget.
