Factors Influencing the Implementation of Social Welfare Policies by Song Phinong Municipality, Song Phinong District, Suphanburi Province

Abstract
This survey research aimed to study: 1) the level of opinions on the factors affecting the implementation of social welfare policy in Song Phi Nong Municipality, Song Phi Nong District, Suphan Buri Province, and 2) the influence on the implementation of social welfare policy in Song Phi Nong Municipality, Song Phi Nong District, Suphan Buri Province. The population consisted of 11,967 residents under the jurisdiction of Song Phi Nong Municipality. The sample size was 387 people. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, multiple regression analysis, and path analysis.
The research findings revealed that: 1) the overall average level of opinions on the factors affecting the implementation of social welfare policy in Song Phi Nong Municipality, Song Phi Nong District, Suphan Buri Province was high, and the overall level of policy implementation was also high; and 2) the factors influencing the implementation of social welfare policy in Song Phi Nong Municipality consisted of 6 independent variables: policy objectives, adequacy of resources, organizational characteristics, planning and control, organizational competency, and public support. Among these, policy objectives, organizational competency, and public support had a direct and positive influence on the implementation of social welfare policy in Song Phi Nong Municipality, Song Phi Nong District, Suphan Buri Province.
