The purpose of this research aimed to study Images of Male homosexual in Thai films from 2006 to 2008. Start from the idea that films is a mass communication; most important task towards spectators is to guide them to understand the basic foundation of society. Meanwhile the male homosexual character is one of the most popular characters always present in Thai films since very long time but their images as comic characters has never changed. This strange phenomenon reflects the idea that there is only one system of identification Male homosexual character in Thai society.
The idea of this research focus on development of male homosexual images in Thai films and to observe the relationship between images of Male homosexual presented in Thai society.
Result of the research in terms of the development of Male homosexual Image presented in Thai films from 2006 to 2008, shows a progress of variation of Male homosexual characters. Therefore most of the Male homosexual characters are related only to the comical images based on mythology and believes in Thai way of thinking, while only Male/Female system obscure the main task that films should be a direct communication to Male homosexual spectators in supporting the act of showing their existence in society.
