The guideline on settlement of disputes regarding construction contract in Thailand

Abstract

The objectives of this article is to study the guidelines of disputes settlement regarding construction contract in Thailand because the construction business is plenty of problems and disputes and as result of a large number of lawsuits. The delay of litigation causes invaluable damages in economic. It results to the problems of insolvency of entrepreneur and subcontractor bring to unemployment problem in part of construction workers. The dispute resolution process by mediation or arbitration although it is faster than litigation. But it may be have a high cost and slowly ,enough to restrain the occur damages  in economic. For other countries such as United Kingdom, Singapore and Australia have used the Adjudication apply with disputes settlement regarding construction which faster than litigation and arbitration. Therefore, the writer study and analyze the bringing of Adjudication apply with disputes settlement regarding construction contract in Thailand in order to achieve the benefit for economic and support the disputes settlement more effectively.
