New Public Governance: Its Meaning and Significance

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the approach of new public governance. It shows that the new public governance is the new development of three approaches of the study of public administration science-these are the approach of traditional public administration, new public management and new public governance respectively. Moreover, it shows the difference between these three approaches, difference between new public governance and good governance and also corporate governance, important conditions of the origin of the new public governance approach, important characteristics of this approach, weaknesses and strengths of its, and the characteristics of political economy of the new public governance.
