Assessment of Satisfaction with the Development of Traditional Thai Dessert “Sao Ang” Packaging to Enhance Product Value of Kwae Village Community Enterprise, Khukhan District, Sisaket Province

Abstract
This research aimed to study the satisfaction with the newly developed packaging of the traditional Thai dessert "Sao Ang" to enhance the product value for the Kwae Village Community Enterprise in Khukhan District, Sisaket Province. This study is a survey research. The data were collected through questionnaires from 5 product design experts, 5 dessert-making experts who are community scholars, and 100 consumers of the traditional Thai dessert "Sao Ang." The data analysis employed basic statistics, including the mean and standard deviation. The findings revealed that the overall satisfaction with the newly designed and developed packaging was high across all three groups. The average satisfaction score for the design experts was ( = 4.37) for the community scholars ( = 4.36) and for the consumers ( = 4.09) The new packaging was evaluated as aesthetically pleasing, with suitable materials and convenient usability. Additionally, it was found to increase the product's value and support sustainable self-reliance within the community.
