บทคัดย่อ

ชุมชนปฏิบัติชาวสวนเรียนรู้ระบบนิเวศสะสมความรู้และสืบทอดความรู้เกี่ยวกับการจัดการน้ำและการพัฒนาสวนแบบยกร่องบริเวณลุ่มน้ำแม่กลองมายาวนาน    โดยสืบทอดความรู้เกี่ยวกับทำสวนให้ลูกหลานจากการปฏิบัติคลุกคลีในพื้นที่สวน  สามารถดูแลบำรุงรักษาสวนไม้ผลผสมผสานที่ให้ผลผลิตซึ่งมีรสชาติเป็นเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะของสวนตนเอง  ชาวสวนจ้างแรงงานในท้องถิ่นที่มีความรู้ ทักษะฝีมือช่วยในการทำสวน  นอกจากนั้นมีการวางแผนการผลิตให้สอดคล้องกับความต้องการของตลาด  บางส่วนทำหน้าที่ในการแปรรูปและรวบรวมผลผลิตสู่ตลาด จึงกล่าวได้ว่าชาวสวนมีความเป็นผู้ประกอบการมาเป็นเวลานาน ชุมชนจึงสามารถเผชิญกับระบบทุนนิยมดำรงความเป็นชุมชนชาวสวนมาได้จนถึงปัจจุบันท่ามการการพัฒนาของทุนนิยมอุตสาหกรรมที่อยู่รายรอบพื้นที่ลุ่มน้ำแม่กลอง อย่างไรก็ตามชาวสวนเรียนรู้และสร้างเครือข่ายความสัมพันธ์กับตลาดทำให้ปรับตัวเข้ากับระบบทุนนิยมได้ แต่ยังต้องพบกับความเสี่ยงในการสร้างความสัมพันธ์กับระบบตลาดเรียนรู้และต้องต่อรองกันตลอดเวลา

Abstract

           Community of practices of orchard farmers have learned on ecology of Mae Klong river  basin, accumulated and passed on their knowledge about water management and ridging fruit orchard development to their children by closed working in their fruit orchards. Such as maintenance their fruit orchards for producing unique fruits by hiring local skilled labours to work in their fruit orchards, plan for fruit productions according to the market need, and some of them work on processing and collecting fruits to sale in the market, etc. The orchard farmers, therefore, take action of ‘entrepreneur’ for a long time. They have abilities to face with capitalism by maintenance their identity of orchard farmer communities until now in the midst of industrial capitalism development surrounded the Mae Klong watershed. However, orchard farmers have to learn and establish their relation networks with the market and adapt to capitalism systems. That make them face to risks by negotiating with the market systems all the time.
