บทคัดย่อ
บทความเรื่องนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ที่จะศึกษาวรรณกรรมเยาวชนเรื่อง Ich bin eine deutsche Türkin (ฉันเป็นคนเยอรมันเชื้อสายเติร์ก) ซึ่งประพันธ์โดย รันคา เคเซอร์ (1995) มีตัวละครเอกชื่อแฟร์ดา ผู้เป็นเด็กสาวชาวเติร์กซึ่งมีความขัดแย้งกับพ่อแม่ แฟร์ดาปรารถนาอิสรเสรี ขณะที่พ่อแม่เข้มงวดกับลูกๆ อยู่เสมอ อาจจะเป็นไปได้ที่ผู้ประพันธ์คลี่คลายความขัดแย้งนี้ด้วยการนำเสนอเหตุการณ์สะเทือนอารมณ์ 2 เหตุการณ์ หนึ่ง คือ พ่อแม่ของแฟร์ดารู้สึกเจ็บปวดจากการหย่าร้างของพี่สาวของแฟร์ดา เป็นเพราะความต้องการที่จะรักษาความบริสุทธิ์ของชาติพันธุ์เติร์ก พ่อแม่ของแฟร์ดาจึงจัดการการแต่งงานแบบคลุมถุงชนให้กับพี่สาวของแฟร์ดา อันเป็นชีวิตสมรสที่ไร้ซึ่งความสุขและจบลงด้วยการหย่าร้างในระยะเวลาอันสั้น และสองเป็นเหตุการณ์ที่แฟร์ดาถูกรถชนบาดเจ็บสาหัส ส่งผลให้พ่อแม่ของแฟร์ดาตระหนักถึงความสำคัญของความสุขของลูกมากกว่าความบริสุทธิ์ของชาติพันธุ์เติร์ก การที่ผู้ประพันธ์นำเสนอเช่นนี้เพื่อสื่อเป็นนัยว่าผู้พลัดถิ่นควรก้าวข้ามพรมแดนทางชาติพันธุ์แทนที่การผูกตนเองไว้กับความบริสุทธิ์ทางชาติพันธุ์

Abstract
This paper aims to study Ranka Keser’s young adult novel, Ich bin eine deutsche Türkin (I Am a German-Turk,1995). The protagonist in this novel is Ferda, presented as a Turk teenage girl, who has a conflict with her parents. She desires freedom whereas her parents are always very strict with their children. The author may possibly resolve the conflict by means of presenting two melodramatic events. One is that Ferda's parents suffer from a divorce of Ferda's elder sister. Having tried to keep Turk ethnic purity, Ferda's parents have had an arranged marriage for her sister. It was an unhappy marriage and ended in divorce within a short time. The other is that Ferda had a serious car accident. This has led her parents to change their minds from maintaining ethnic purity to paying more attention to their daughters’ happiness. With the presentation of these two events, the author might want to imply that immigrants should cross the ethnic border rather than tie oneself with ethnic purity.
