บทคัดย่อ

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการศึกษาถึงอาชีพช่างฝีมือในสมัยอยุธยาและช่างสิบหมู่ในสมัยรัตนโกสินทร์ศึกษาโดยใช้หลักฐานเอกสารของไทยและบันทึกของชาวต่างชาติ  ผลจากการศึกษาพบว่าช่างฝีมือในสมัยอยุธยามีจุดเริ่มต้นจากการเป็นแรงงานให้ราชสำนักและทำอาชีพผลิตสินค้าเพื่อขายซึ่งพัฒนาไปสู่การรวบรวมช่างฝีมือให้เป็นหมวดหมู่ในสังกัดช่างสิบหมู่ในสมัยรัตนโกสินทร์

Abstract

This article aims to study the craftsmen career in Ayutthaya and department of ten crafts in Rattanakosin period by historical document both Thai and foreigners. Results of the study showed that the craftsmen in the Ayutthaya period , with the beginning of the labor in court and made products for sale, which developed to be department of ten crafts in Rattanakosin period.
