บทคัดย่อ

การค้นคืนการอ้างอิงผลงานทางวิชาการมีความสำคัญและมีประโยชน์ต่อนักวิจัยและผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้อง เช่น ช่วยให้ทราบถึงอิทธิพลของบทความวิจัยนั้น  และช่วยค้นหานักวิจัยที่สำคัญในแต่ละสาขาวิชา เป็นต้น ปัจจุบันฐานข้อมูลเพื่อการค้นคืนการอ้างอิงผลงานทางวิชาการมีเพิ่มมากขึ้น ซึ่งฐานข้อมูลที่สำคัญได้แก่ Web of Science, Scopus, Google Scholar และ  TCI เป็นต้น   เนื่องจากฐานข้อมูลประเภทนี้แตกต่างกับฐานข้อมูลทั่วไปที่ผู้ใช้คุ้นเคย  และแต่ละฐานข้อมูลยังมีลักษณะและเทคนิคการค้นที่แตกต่างกัน   บทความนี้นำเสนอแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับการค้นคืนการอ้างถึงผลงานทางวิชาการ  อาทิ  ความหมาย  ลักษณะ  ความสำคัญ   ฐานข้อมูลที่สำคัญ  และเทคนิคการค้นคืน

Abstract

The cited reference searching is important and useful to the researchers and those involved, for example, to understand the impact of a work and to identify the core researchers in a field. Now the numbers of cited reference databases are increased. The major cited reference databases are Web of Science, Scopus, Google Scholar, and TCI, etc.. Because these databases are different from the typical databases that the users are familiar with and each database is also different in the feature and searching techniques. The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of cited reference searching ; definition, specific features, important of cited references, the major cited reference databases, and searching techniques.
